Caribbean weddings are the dreams of many brides. If it is your dream, you can easily turn that dream into a reality. Destination weddings are not only affordable, but easy to plan. To get started, examine Caribbean wedding packages. After doing so, you will see just how easy it is to have the wedding of your dreams. But wait! When examining these packages, what should you look for?

An All-Inclusive Caribbean Resort

Caribbean wedding packages are offered through resorts. Make sure your resort is an all-inclusive resort. When having a destination wedding, most brides and grooms combine their wedding and honeymoon. This means you may stay 7-days or more. Don’t get bored with your choices. Luckily, you won’t with a stay at an all-inclusive resort. Not only can you have a beautiful wedding right on site, but your honeymoon will be perfect too. All-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean are usually home to multiple restaurants, tons of onsite activities, and more. You can never leave the resort grounds and still have the trip of a lifetime.

Most importantly, all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean give you more than just a roof over your head. Your stay should include food, drinks, tips, qualifying airport transfers, your room or suite, and some forms of onsite entertainment. Caribbean weddings, however, may cost extra.

The Possibility of a Free Wedding

As previously stated, your Caribbean wedding may cost extra, but some resorts limit these costs. In fact, some even offer free standard wedding ceremonies with a minimum nights stay. This means that if you stay 5-nights, your actual wedding ceremony may be free of charge! How neat does that sound?

The Ability to Customize Your Wedding

Regardless of whether you opt for a free Caribbean wedding or outright pay the entire costs, you want the ability to customize your wedding. After all, it is your special day. All resorts should have on their websites, a list of upgrades or wedding features that you can purchase for an affordable fee. Just a few examples include a professional photographer, a few guest passes, and in-room hair and makeup. If you opt for not just a wedding ceremony, but a reception too, you should also have the option to customize it as well.

A Wedding Planner

Whether you opt for a free Caribbean wedding or not, destination weddings can be difficult to plan. You may be thousands of miles away. That is why you need access to a wedding planner. Opt for a resort that provides you with one. Although most communication is done over-the-phone or via email, you still have a professional in your corner that can help you plan your wedding.

Multiple Wedding Ceremony Locations

If you stay at an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, your wedding package includes an onsite wedding ceremony and possibly a reception. This is good, but where exactly can you get married? You should have a choice. Remember once again, this is your special day; therefore, you should be able to decide. Many all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean allow guests to choose from banquet rooms, gardens, or the beach.

Groom Caribbean Wedding Clothes Rentals

Why just groom Caribbean wedding clothes rentals? Most grooms choose to rent their tuxes, but it is another story for brides. They often spend months finding the perfect dress for a Caribbean wedding. It can be a hassle and risky traveling with wedding clothes, like a tuxedo or dress for a Caribbean wedding. Save some of the hassle and have your groom rent a tuxedo from the resort in question. Many do have them available.

The above mentioned things are just a few of the many that you should consider when comparing Caribbean wedding packages. Finally, be sure to compare costs. Having the destination wedding of your dreams shouldn’t break the bank. However, since it is your special day, don’t choose a resort or wedding package just for the low price. Consider other factors too, like the ones highlighted above.

Caribbean weddings are easy to plan and relatively affordable too. Plan your wedding with the help of Breezes.com and book a stay at an affordable, yet luxury Caribbean all-inclusive resort.

Cruises are typically a laid back affair, but despite being a way to relax and take a vacation, it’s fun to dress up nicely from time to time. If you’ve never been on a dinner cruise before, you’ll probably want to ensure that you know what to wear for formal attire.

Formal Night on a Cruise: What to Wear

Cruises are typically a laid back affair, but despite being a way to relax and take a vacation, it’s fun to dress up nicely from time to time. Formal nights allow just that. If you’ve never been on a dinner cruise ship before, you’ll probably want to ensure that you know what to bring for formal night.

Dressing Up on a Dinner Cruise

It’s normal to dress semi-formally for dinner on a cruise, particularly if you are eating in the nicer dining room, as opposed to ordering in or eating at a more informal area. A nice dress or slacks and a blouse for women are appropriate for these dinners, a suit or slacks and a tucked in button-down shirt work well for men.

Another opportunity to dress up a bit would be when you hit the dance floor on the cruise ship. Many people prefer to wear nice clothes and shorts are generally frowned upon in this case.
These are the normal situations that you would find yourself dressing up for on a cruise. Nothing terribly formal and the atmosphere is still relatively casual. Not so on Formal Night.

What to Pack for Formal Night on a Cruise

The formal night on a cruise is meant to be one of a kind and it shows. While a nice suit can be acceptable for a man, tuxedos are now the norm on many cruises. Just think of what you would wear to a nice wedding . . . if it would pass there, then you’re probably good to go.

Women have far more choice in what to wear. Formal ballgowns are definitely an option, but your most elegant “little black dress” can also be very appropriate. Again, imagine wearing it to a wedding and you’ll know if it’s formal enough. Women may choose to wear brighter colors, like red or emerald green, but when in doubt, stick to black or white to be sure you’ll fit in.

For women, matching shoes and jewelry is a must. If you have an elegant gold chain or something more formal such as a string of pearls, that will dress up any outfit. Matching earrings add an extra touch of elegance to the outfit, too. Add a touch of more formal makeup and do your hair up for the ultimate in elegant looks.

Can You Rent?

Often cruise ships will have a tuxedo and dress rental where you can pick up something for the evening that will be appropriate. However, these rentals are usually booked very early, so make sure to book as soon as you board, or even earlier, if possible. This requires that you be aware of the option, of course, so you’ll need to talk to your cruise ship representative about the Formal Night.

If you find that you are just really stressing out about the dinner cruise event, just make it easy on yourself. Call up the cruise line ahead of time to find out just what is required. Are they offering rentals? Will there be a theme to the Formal Night? Preparing yourself for this event will keep the stress levels to a minimum and allow you to truly enjoy the cruise.

Formal Night is a night meant to be super romantic and beautiful. While not everyone enjoys dressing up, it is still a wonderful occasion to enjoy your partner and have fun in a more upscale environment where you can be the belle of the ball or the prince of the hour for a short while. Just be prepared and arrange everything ahead of time to make sure you won’t be thinking about the event the whole time.

Dinner cruise company offers private cruises, public cruises and corporate cruises for any occasion. Book your boat cruise with Klancy’s Charters on the Toronto Harbour.

Things can go disastrously wrong at the worst possible times. For example, your wedding dress might become ripped or the venue you’ve reserved for the reception may suddenly be off limits. Whether the problems are avoidable or not, they can quickly transform the most important day of your life into a veritable nightmare. If you fear unforeseen circumstances and want to protect yourself financially, a wedding insurance policy might be the solution.

In this article, we’ll explain the basics behind such policies and describe a few scenarios in which they’re handy. We’ll also take a look at how much it costs to insure your ceremony and reception.

How The Coverage Works

A wedding insurance policy fills the financial gaps in the event that an unexpected problem occurs that can potentially derail your big day. For example, imagine that the groom is traveling from out of state and has packed his rented tuxedo in his luggage. If the airline loses his luggage, he may be forced to purchase a new tuxedo (last minute rentals are often difficult to find). In this case, the contract would reimburse the cost of the tuxedo and help the couple avoid postponing the ceremony.

Insuring Against The Unpredictable

There are countless situations that can suddenly threaten your big day and they’re often unpredictable. For example, imagine that you reserved the site for your reception several months in advance. However, three weeks before your wedding, the venue goes bankrupt and closes down. Not only will your deposit be forfeit, but you’ll need to pay for a new venue – with only three weeks to spare, that can be expensive. A wedding insurance contract can compensate you for the additional cost.

Or, consider the expense of having to postpone your ceremony (for example, if you’re injured on the ski slopes). The deposits for the flowers, catering, music, limo, and photography may normally not be refundable. An insurance policy can cover the gap.

The Cost Of Enjoying Peace Of Mind

Like most types of insurance policies, the cost of insuring your big day can vary based upon the items you’d like to cover. Most basic plans will include coverage for the rings, photography, videography, gifts, and the dress and tuxedo. Expect to pay approximately $200 for $1,000,000 in coverage.

You can also supplement the policy to cover such items as venue cancellations, sickness, and even your honeymoon. The price of the policy will obviously rise with the additional coverage.

Is The Investment Worthwhile?

Wedding insurance can make the difference between enjoying a worry-free event or risking postponement. But, that doesn’t mean the coverage is necessary. A lot of vendors will already be covered for various unforeseen circumstances; an insurance policy may duplicate that coverage, unnecessarily adding to your expense. Talk to each of your vendors, including the manager at the reception hall. Ask them for details about their existing coverage. If there are any glaring gaps, explore whether an additional policy is appropriate for you and your sweetheart.

Your best buddy has selected you to be his best man. What an honor! Now, what the heck does everyone expect you to do?

Here’s a top 20 list of what the best man is traditionally supposed to do:

1. Assist the groom in selecting tuxedos for the guys in the wedding party. The bride probably has something in mind, so check with her and what the wedding colors are so that you can coordinate the tuxedos to match. Plus, you’ll save time. She’ll probably hand you a page she ripped out of a bridal magazine. If for instance, rose is a major color in the wedding, the cumber bunds and accessories can pick up this hue.

2. Pick up the groom’s tuxedo and accessories before the wedding. Make sure the other groomsmen have their act together in picking up their own attire.

3. The best man is in charge of making sure all the guys get to where they are supposed to be (main events would be the rehearsal dinner and the wedding obviously).

4. Hang out with the groom as he gets ready for the wedding (on the wedding day). Carry smart items such as breath mints, a fully charged cell phone, aspirin, a comb, deodorant, and anything that might come in handy on a wedding day emergency.

5. Make sure that the groom and groomsmen get to the church or ceremony location on time. If a limo hasn’t been rented to take wedding party members to the wedding ceremony location, it is up to the best man to figure out how all the guys are supposed to get to their appointed destination. Make sure you have a full tank of gas in your car.

6. Make sure all groomsmen have their boutonnieres securely pinned to their tuxedo lapels. Make sure the groomsmen look presentable for pictures. Carry a small comb in your pocket in case some of the guys need a touchup.

7. If there are printed materials such as bulletins or programs for the church or wedding location, make sure to pass these out to the usher so the guests all get a copy. Save a couple copies for the bride and groom – they will be too busy to think of this!

8. The best man usually is the groomsman that walks down the aisle with the maid or matron of honor.

9. The best man usually holds onto the bride’s ring until the groom needs to place it on her finger. If a ring bearer will carry the ring down the aisle, the best man will make sure the little guy doesn’t loose it.

10. The best man usually is a witness to the wedding and signs the formal wedding license.

11. At the wedding reception, the best man assists the maid of honor in rounding up the wedding party to take pictures.

12. The best man typically will sit, along with the rest of the wedding party, at the head table with the bride and groom. Try not to chew with your mouth open and be sure to use your napkin! All eyes will be turned towards the head table so remember that.

13. Socialize with guests and keep an eye open for anyone that might need help during the reception.

14. The best man gives toasts to the bride and groom at the reception. Keep it short and sweet. Wish them the best of luck. Praise both the bride and groom as being lovely people and meant for each other. Do not tell any sordid stories that might embarrass the bride or groom. Sure, people would laugh but don’t risk it. The bride will never forgive you!

15. The best man gathers up the single men at the reception when it is time for the tossing of the garter. This may take some effort as guys aren’t vying for the garter like the single girls will fight for that bouquet toss.

16. If the bride and groom are leaving directly after the reception to start their honeymoon, the best man sees them off. Assist the groom in getting luggage into the car and doublechecking that the groom has his wallet, credit cards, cell phone, passport (if applicable) and tickets.

17. After the wedding, the best man usually makes sure to return any rented tuxedos and accessories.

18. It is an honor to be chosen as the best man. With this honor comes some monetary expenses: lodging, travel costs, rental of a tuxedo, price of dinners, cigars or special beverages for a “guy moment” if he feels the need.

19. The best man typically organizes the bachelor party. Do not have this the night before the wedding. The groom might be hung over, late to the wedding and take terrible pictures! Be sensible and make sure to do the bachelor party sometime during the last month before the wedding. The farther away from the wedding day, the better!

20. Don’t forget to buy the bride and groom a wedding present! After all, the groom is springing for groomsmen gifts for you and the other groomsmen.

This list is meant to be a guideline. The best advice I can give you is to communicate with the bride and groom as to the plans for the “big day.” Be as helpful as you can. Since you care that your buddy has a nice wedding day, you will naturally know what to do when the moment arises. Be sure to go thru a “dry run” of the events of the wedding day so that you can make yourself a list as to what to do when.

Why didn’t I think of it?  Celebrities, socialites, fashion editors and stylists have been borrowing for years!  Yet this type of very exclusive club has never been open to other beautiful, stylish, successful and smart women.  Why?   Men have been renting tuxedos forever.  You can rent movies, accessories and toys.

Finally, every woman across the United States has access to borrow beautiful, authentic, unique designer dresses and clothing – risk free – at WearTodayGoneTomorrow.com!  It’s getting rave reviews in the press, including Life & Style Magazine, NBC, CBS, Glamour and Allure.

To reduce the chances that the dress will not fit, they’ve standardized sizing across designers.  What does that mean for you?  They say it’s means that a size six borrowed from any designer available on the website fits like a ‘True to Size’ size six.  It won’t run big or small.  And just in case it still doesn’t, you can return your dress for a full rental refund.

Designers in their mix already include Vera Wang, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Diane von Furstenberg, Tracy Reese and many more…  They charge 10% of the dresses retail value for a week’s rental, and make borrowing and returning simple.  The shopping cart is very user friendly, and they provide pre-paid postage and packaging for returns.  All you have to do is give the dress to your Postal Worker or drop it off at your local post office, and that’s it.  They use odorless, more environmentally friendly organic dry cleaning, so you don’t even have to worry about cleaning it.

By renting at WearTodayGoneTomorrow.com, you’ll save money, have access to new, finest quality, beautiful designer clothing, and never have to worry about being seen in the same dress twice!  You can rent for dates with a new boyfriend, prom, nights out with friends or colleagues, vacations, weddings or other special events.

And you’ll feel like a celebrity doing it!

Back in the days, renting a wedding gown for that special day seemed completely absurd and out-of-question! Now the gown rental trend is not only fully accepted, but in full swing and widespread among bridal shops across the country. Brides are simply looking at the practicality of a cost effective way to have that luxurious wedding of their girlish childhood dreams. And what’s wrong with renting instead of buying? In some cases, leasing can be one-third the price of buying.

Taking a cue from the growing acceptance of gown rental, other services are emerging that provide brides options for perfecting their “look” for their wedding day.

One of the newest and innovative leasing options for weddings is bridal jewelry leasing. This popular trend of leasing genuine, authentic jewelry at a fraction of the price is picking up steam with brides and their attendants. Brides, who appreciate fine jewelry and are searching for an elegant alternative to costume jewelry, are finding the affordable option of leasing their wedding jewelry to be a perfect solution. Like Hollywood celebrities, they get the beauty of a glamorous piece of jewelry around their neck or wrist for their special day without the expense. With the Internet at their fingertips, working with web-based companies like Adorn Brides is a convenient way to add some bling to their wedding day.

While renting or leasing wedding gowns and jewelry are very intimate items for brides to lease, there are many other accoutrements that brides may rent to add the perfect touch to their special day. Here are 4 other wedding rental options to consider for that special day:

1. Wedding Limousine Service

You can’t forget the limousine. Renting a limousine service for your wedding day can not only be a wonderful way to travel on your special day, but a great convenience to planning the travel arrangements for everyone involved in the wedding party. Depending on the size of your wedding party, more than one limousine may be necessary.

2. Wedding Facility in a Spectacular Location

So many couples go with the usual wedding facility – from the local church hall to the upscale country club ballroom. Why not rent your facility in a vacation spot for all your guests to enjoy a vacation in a beautiful or exotic place? Lake Tahoe is often referred to as the perfect year round vacation and wedding destination with terrific weather and breathtaking scenery. And if that doesn’t work, why not a unique facility like a local botanical garden, city owned mansion, a lighthouse or historical castle that rents for weddings. The wedding can even be arranged at the place where the couple had their first date – a vineyard, a park, the beach or even the zoo!

3. Wedding Arch or Chuppah

Many couples deciding on outdoor weddings will rent the wedding arch or chuppah to accessorize their “altar” area. The wedding arch or chuppah canopy can be decorated with flowers, plants or balloons that match the floral and color theme of the wedding. The arches come in a variety of shapes and sizes – lattice, brass, heart shaped, round, square – and even gazebos to rent for the outside wedding “altar”. The decorations and accessories to the arch or Chuppah are many. Beach weddings can also rent torches leading up to the arch – creating an “aisle”, garden weddings can rent railing structures that can be configured many ways around the wedding arch to make room for a whole wedding party.

4. Unique Dome Tents

Why not become the talk-of-your-town by thinking outside the “box” tent and renting a unique “dome” tent for the wedding? These futuristic structures are an all-in-one facility for that special day. >From design concept and planning to setup and teardown, dome tent renters are available to work out all the details to pulling off the perfect wedding. Dome decorations can be spectacular and most dome tents provide built in media projection screens with natural acoustics, will coordinate in-house music, lighting and interior design to your specifications.

Besides the usual tuxedo, table linens and chair covers, these are just a few more innovative wedding rental options to considering when planning your special day.
