Wedding planning is a lot of work. If your bride-to-be is more of a hands-on type of person, she might be pushing herself a little too hard. Ease the tension of wedding planning and impress her by being a super groom (or at least as someone who knows his roles) by following these tips:
- Take responsibility for organizing the transport from the ceremony to the reception for you and your bride. Surprise her with an elegant limo or an alternative wedding transport, such as a horse-drawn carriage.
- Prepare a speech that will sound like you are wooing her again when you read it at the reception. Write your speech a few weeks before the big day to allow yourself some time to think about what you want to say.
- Score extra points with your bride by getting involved with the wedding planning details. Feel free to offer some ideas.
- Instead of having it the night before the wedding, inform your best man to schedule the bachelor party a few weeks before to avoid being hungover on your big day. Nothing pisses off a bride more than a groom who shows up at the wedding with a serious hangover.
- On the morning of the wedding day, surprise your blushing bride with a special gift. Ask one of her bridesmaids to deliver it for you.
- Score extra points with your new in-laws as well by sending flowers to the mother-of-the-bride a day after your wedding.
- Most importantly, whatever you do, always have some words of encouragement for your busy bride. A quick kiss and a hug won’t hurt, either.
